Scotch 88 is thicker (8.5 mils) than standard electric tape and it sticks in very cold weather. I have used Scotch 88 in 0° Chicago days and it does indeed work in cold weather so it became the only tape that I bought. It only comes in the color black and it is highly resistant to UV rays.
