I've got a sick HAM IV Rotor with a stock HAM IV Controller Plus and hope
someone can help me get it operational.  Here's the issue:  I pressed the Brake
Release and turned the rotor CCW and it turned the antenna aprx. 10 degrees and
blew the 3 Amp fuse on the rear panel.  Didn't have an exact 3 amp replacement
so I installed a 5-amp and the Controller powers up again.  I can hear the
Brake Solenoid click when I press the Brake Release but the rotor won't turn CW
or CCW.   A crazy issue:  if I hold down the Brake Release and press the CW
button for a few seconds, after releasing the Brake even though the rotor
doesn't turn I hear the brake solenoid click after aprx. 5 seconds, as normal.
However, if I press the Brake Release and turn the Controller CW the Brake
solenoid "clicks" as soon as I release the Brake Release- no brake delay.
Therefore, the brake timer works when the rotor is turned CW but not when
turned in the CCW position.  But as previously mentioned the rotor doesn't turn
the antenna regardless what I do with the Controller.   Any ideas what the
problem is?  Thanks in advance for you thoughts.  73, Dick- K9OM
