Well guys, my mind has been made up. When I order the new HF antenna from JK, I
will add the 6 meter, 5 element beam to the order. Funny, but when you go on
their website they only show the 7 element with a 30 ft boom and a giant 10
element. Spoke to Ken at JK. He said they make a 5 element on a 15 ft. boom,
they just don’t advertise it. Their construction looks A+. That plus the 6BA JK
will go on my US Tower HDX572MDPL.
I always wondered about the square booms and metric hardware on the Innov. Here
on Long Island there has been an increase in general wind velocities. Hopefully
this winter will be more snow and less ice!
Regards.
