 Howdy -
Been using Polyphasers for > 20 years and on day 1 of antenna(s) installation.  
 Since then, experienced 2 direct strikes, the antenna exploded each time, with 
the Polyphaser clamping down instantly.   The feedline and radio(s) were safe.  
 
I only use the N models.   Any lightning suppression installations MUST be done 
correctly per NEC and RF codes. 
Once again, most commercial sites use Polyphaser lightning suppression They 
provide maximum protection, when compared to other manufactures.

Yeah, their site navigation leaves much to be desired. I just stuffed 
"polyphaser UL497E" into DuckDuckGo and found it on the second hit.
