1 well equipped multi mode 222 station worked a very sub marginal 222 station during the ARRL vhf contest. Well equipped station transmitted on FM & received on CW. Submarginal station (Alinco Fm hand held + VJB cheapie yagi) in rain transmitted CW by pressing Transmit switch to create CW and listened on FM. What do the stations put in their logs for Mode for thus QSO? Distance between stations 63 miles.
