This was a very part time affair...it's kinda hard to get excited enough to
stay up all night after just getting back from a CQWW trip.  There was
terrible QRN Saturday night here in CA from the storms moving in on us from
the Pacific, but the big surprise was that the QRN seemed to stop completely
about 0900Z.  It was as though a big switch had been thrown to kill all the
static.  Why couldn't that have happened earlier in the evening when there
was still a lot of activity???  Anyway...
