Spent saturday putting up an inverted L (top ~80 ft up in tree) and 
one beverage (to eu) out at the family farm. Barely got things running 
by sunset. Was amazed how much the bev. helped (never used one before)...
could hear lots of EU, but they couldn't hear me! Managed to work 4 
europeans. Static got steadily worse until 5:30Z,  when a thunderstorm 
broke out! Gave up for the night and went to bed.
