REFRACTIONS:

Before the contest I decided to forgo a serious all band effort 

in the Winter RAC, to pursue STEW and RAC single band 160.  Main 

reasons were wanting to try STEW seriously for the first time,

80m CW band is clobbered with TCI wireless phone jack carriers,

and 160m has been so bad prior to the contest, I thought it just

had to be good for the SP.  Bad decision, bad condx, bad noise, but

somewhat fun anyway.  Not a whisper from EU/AF, even during real 

quiet periods.  High bands sounded great today, RAC must have

been real fun!  CU in CQWW 160. Ken
