Observations:
Professional and family obligations prevented a serious effort. It was fun to contest without feeling chained to the radio all weekend and being able to return to work without feeling half asleep all day.
80M Was a blast. While missing 9M0C that George, W2VJN, caught, was thrilled at working the XU2 and a host of JAs. If only 75m phone contests were this fun! JA activity on this bands seemed up.
40M Typically nice JA opening. Would have liked to hear more EU active, but the big euros were there for us west coast folks to add some nice mults.
20M The EU opening on Sunday (the only serious time I spent on 20) yielded fabulous results. The variety of european stations is mind boggling for us in the west coast. Looking forward to like openings on 15 shortly. At least we can now hear EU on 15!
15M Nice to catch western EU on this band. Understand that if I had gone to 15 earlier on Sunday (15UTC or so) I would have been treated to a 45 min EU opening. Wonderful to remain able to count on our JA friends for QSOs. As always, we appreciate the JAs. Thanks to all of you who participated!
10M Good activity on 10. The band keeps getting better.
