[3830] TR problems

Hi,
I just got my TR in the mail today. Looks pretty good except for one
problem, I can't seem to get it to work. I get to the point where it
asks me to copy the files to my harddrive. At that point, it takes
forever and goes through loops and therefore I can never get it to work.
What is causing this and could the disk be defective(don't think so)?
Was planning on using it this weekend for the Sprint contest but that
dream may be shattered  if I don't find the root of the problem soon
enough. Thanks in advance.
