*** this is what we send out few days before contest start, but
never really came on CQ-Contest reflector ? ***
S50HQ with the "ZRS" multiplier will be put on the air by Slovenia
Contest Club during IARU HF CHAMPIONSHIP 98.
Guys will be running 100W, 80-10m, SSB/CW. Two radios will be put
in service, one of which will solely be used as a spotting station.
Antenna set-up will consist of a 3-element triband Yagi and a FD4
multiband dipole. Roughly the same basic rules will apply as in WRTC.
What are we actually trying to do?
Come as close as possible to the conditions the teams are going to
face in WRTC2000, thus giving us a valuable information which will
be passed-on to potential participants.
We would kindly like to thank to Slovenian Amateur Radio League for
providing a special call-sign/multiplier and to Mr. Miran Kozjek of
TRIVAL Antennas for generously loaning a FD4 multiband antenna.
