I like to refer to this as "Triibander/single wire without the tribander".

Didn't run as much as I should have. Saturday was very frustrating for me,
phone is tougher than CW when you have puny antennas. I couldn't get
anything going on 20 in the early afternoon and took some off-time during
prime time (watched some taped episodes of South Park). After talking to
my out-of-town wife late Saturday afternoon, I finally got my act together
a little and had some good runs on 40 and 75 (JY9QJ called me on 75, he had
called me on 40 the night before). My half-time score was about 900K (666
x 408).

15 was just amazing on Sunday, great signals, late opening, but made some
band-switching mistakes again (should have stayed on 15 about 2 more hours
instead of trying to go to 20), though not as seriously bad as Saturday.
OD5NJ and 7P8CI called me on 20M Sunday afternoon right in a row! I
probably could have won this category, even without the requisite
tri-bander. Oh well, there's always next year, when I might actually have
the tri-bander!

Favorite thing heard: VK2APK around 0635Z Sunday a.m. saying, "Whoever is
making noise on the frequency, please stop, you bloody bastard!"
