K8MR SS Rover Operation High Power Ohio
        1998 ARRL November CW Sweepstakes

There may never be enough stations for my CW SS tour, but I
may be getting close. The geomagnetic strom screwed things up
enough to keep me from my goal of beating the top scoring station
with my combined scores. Things were so bad around 07Z - N2NT
was S6 on 80 meters - that I bagged it for the night. My plan
had been to operate an hour each from K8RM and K8MR, which should
have been good for about 150 more qsos. Wait until next year.

On the other hand, this was the first time I have worked all
the sections from one place or another. Also by finishing at the
bona fide superstation of K8AZ, I managed to break the 100 qso/hr
barrier for the first time.

I worked only one station (though in some cases from
multiple locations) in VO, VY1, NNY and MS. The suprise tough
one was SNJ - missed it from K8RM and W8AJ, and had over 250 qsos
from K8AZ before W2REH finally called in.

Multi-station is still the most fun way to operate SS; I
remain suprised that more people haven't given it a try.
