[3830] east vs: west coast

hello contesters,

just for information. in the past cw contest n7dd
worked, on 15 meters:
455 asia
805 europe

the conditions were very good to asia owing to the 
signal strenght of JA qrp stations.europe was also
good on saturday and fine until 1600z on sunday when
the band dropped out.would have probably worked 200
more europeans on sunday.

can a west coast station win the cqww?
