SoapBox:
One of my favorite contests. Where else can you have so much fun running 100W
into a 3 element beam at 15 feet?

Several highpoints:
* First ever contest with >1,000 QSO's from the home QTH.
* First ever 7 QSO minute and 15 in three minutes. Someone must of
spotted me on the east coast. Hope you guys don't claim to
  be single op!
* Had a nice chat with Ralph, K9ZO, near the end of the contest.
One of the "ZO" club. A couple minutes after both Fred, K3ZO,
and I called JI1ACI at the same time. I heard him come back to
K3ZO and I tried to correct him. Several times in a contest I
have someone come back to me as K3ZO. But, guess what? It really was
K3ZO. Fred worked him, and I got him next. So JA1ACI now has K3ZO and K7ZO
  sequentially in his log.
* Lots of activity from relatively rare sections. I can't believe how
many VE2 stations I worked and I usually have to fight for a Q
with just one in Sweepstakes. There was also great activity from HI.
* Surprised to work HS0/VE3XO 1:10 Friday night. I think that is
the first time I have worked HS from here at home on any band.

One sort of disappointment:
* The quality of the EU opening out here was poor and my mult total
shows it. Of course to have it open at all is certainly better
than the alternative. But it seemed far better during CQWW CW.
I heard nothing from LA, SM, OH, OZ, etc.

Scott/K7ZO
