Comments:

The ARRL 10-Meter contest is by far the most enjoyable one all year for me. 
Conditions were great!

Made it through the contest with my very old version of a popular contest
logging program.  Realized it might be time to upgrade (Cabrillo not
withstanding) when the status line advised me that if I quit running
stations
and hunted for multipliers I could spend 1,427,411 minutes finding a new one
and still be ahead of the game!  Hmmmm.

Rig: Icom IC-746 running about 80 watts.  TH3jr (small 3-el tribander) up 50
feet.  Code all sent by hand with a keyer, not a keyboard (call me old
fashioned!)
