 Totals 3980 3872 21210 126

Rough Score = 2,672,460 points.

No NU anywhere and tough conditions on the lower bands, but otherwise
good. Unfortunately the numbers weren't quite enough to beat our 1997
record numbers near 2.72 meg. More mults but not enough QSO's.

Some stats.. we ran 10 stations including 2 and 6 m. 3 positions were CW
only and we could generally operate the three most productive bands
running both modes simultaneously. Our 3 CW ops (BF EX DXX) generated 1487 Q's
(37%) for 7120 points (33% of the total).

Thanks to all those who made an extra effort to QSY for band or mode mults for
us. We kept our 80 and 160 skeds near the end of the contest but the conditions
just didn't co-operate.

As usual, it was a struggle to coax a serial number from the non (or poorly
informed) contestors out there, which can lead to some interesting exchanges.
Mitch, VE6JTM, worked one contact, who when asked if this was his first QSO
in the contest, replied that we were his first QSO - ever! Special contacts
like that call for and got more than 59 Alberta, even if it is a contest!
