high SWR kept TS850 at 10 watts output)
Comments: My first RTTY contest. I had never even listened in on a RTTY
contest before, let alone entered one, so I had no idea what to expect.
I set a goal of 200 Q's - which I thought somewhat optimistic since I
have very limited RTTY experience and just got the rig & software set up
a half hour into the start of the contest. I had never used this program
before so I wasn't even sure how it worked. Fortunately, it was VERY
easy to use and performed flawlessly.
I was very impressed with both the amount of activity and the courtesy
exhibited by all operators in this contest. I absolutely loved it and
definitely plan to be back next year - with a decent antenna for 80M and
a narrow filter for the TS850. Thanks everyone for such a great event.
