Well, here's the damage report:
355 Q's, 130 mults = 46150 points
Breakdown:
80- 150Q's, 42 States, 1 DX Never Imagined this on 80!
40- 103Q's, 36 States, 1 DX
20- 66Q's, 33 States, 0 DX
15- 36Q's, 14 States, 3 DX
Observations:
I was REALLY surprised when I got on 80 around 6PM local time, and had no
difficulty finding a freq to call CQ, and it went slowly from there. Once
0200 UTC rolled around, things picked up rapidly. Lots of CQ with maybe a
few S&P on 80M. I was really surprised to do 54 in that hour on 80 with the
antenna, when just a month ago, I had difficulty holding a QSO with a guy
in Indiana. Also, Lots of SMC'ers on the band!
Made a last minute dash on 40 from 0545 to 0600, and at 0559:45s, I have a
HUGE pileup, but can only get a W6.. That was COOL!
Goals:
Finally get 50 Q's per hour
Beat 1997 NAQP SSB Score of 322
Get more than 20 Q's on 80M
Resolutions:
0200-0300 made 54 Q's in 1 hour ON 80!
0400-0500 made 49 Q's in 1 hour on 80!
Beat 1997 score
Got more than 20 Q's on 80..
