TEAM: SOCIETY OF MIDWEST CONTESTERS TEAM #1

First serious effort from my home station. Wow, what an awakening that
was! I felt pretty loud at times, but the limitations of my station were
frustrating as well. Some things that I need to do:

1) Finish putting up the 160m antenna! Started putting up an Inverted L
but didn't finish before winter hit. So, no 160 antenna for the contest.
And when 80m and 160m were the only places to be at night, I had to pick
one -- couldn't troll the other one with the second radio since I only had
one 80/160m antenna.

2) Need secondary 10m-20m antenna for second radio. Thinking of either a
very small tribander half-way down the tower or maybe just a R-7000.
Something! Was very frustrating to be running on 20 meters and be trolling
10 meters with the 40 meter antenna! :-(

3) Need bandpass filters! Was very tough sometimes to use the second radio
due to the close proximity of the antennas.

Station:

Icom IC-765
Kenwood TS-930

72 foot self-supporting tower
Force 12 C4XL (7 ele tribander + 2 ele 40 on same boom, 2 feedlines)
75m Inverted Vee (used on 80m + 160m with tuner)

Logging: Pentium 133 and TR-Log
