Comments:

Got a late start on the contest. Was out with the wife doing some
shopping and realized that the contest was on and headed down stairs to
the shack. Didn't get started until 1930Z and only really planned on
making just a few Q's for something to do, however, after being into it
for a couple of hours the competitive juices started flowing, and it
became a full blown effort.

The activity on the bands was very good and the two radio setup worked
extremely well. Being here in the mid-west 40 meters is the state side
band to be on, however, with the return of the high bands activity has
reallocated back to 10/15/20. I used the second radio extensively to
catch up on the mult count and work as many as possible to try and make
up for the late start. There was no problem with Forty, however, it did
go long as expected and the two element Telerex helped. Eighty was
noisy at times and the 80 meter receiving loop helped to hear better
through the static crashes. It was nice to have 160 capabilities to
pick on some additional mult count to make up for the late start on the
contest.

I have to admit it was really great to have a contest like this with
only 10 hours of operation, because you don't feel burned out
afterwards. I had a great time. Thanks to everyone who worked me.

The NA software worked flawlessly. I can't say enough about K8CC's
tremendous software logging program. Dave definitely has the insight
and vision for always making improvements and changes where needed to an
already great logging program, to even make it better yet.

Hopefully, I can get on for the SSB contest next weekend. See you all
then.
