The huge difference in propagation compares last year, than we made only 7
qso on 10 meters. Had a lot of fun with nice condx. Bands sounded really
good: great opening on West Coast on 40 meters, seems that 20m never
closed to USA, but for us it was band with through-passage. Unfortunately,
could worked just a couple of dozen W6/7 on 10 meters. Next year should be
much better, I believe.

The biggest thrill: First qso on 160m - being called by K0HA after second
CQ. Actually loud !

The laughable situation: Second evening on 10 meters, still need some
mults, including VE5. I looked through mults table and shared my opinion
with Vlad (RW1AC): there is VE5SF ? I still need SK. This guy seems hear
us and called
just 10 second later ! Thanks a lot !
One of the interesting contests during high sunspot years here in
North-West Russia and only hard job during several previous years without
good propagation.

73 ! Arno / RV1AW on behalf of RU1A
