Comments: This was our last contest of the school year and we were all
pleased to have done so well with just a minimal amount of time invested.
K1XQ worked Friday evening getting us off to a good start on 40/80, I put in
6 hours Saturday before heading out of town and KO1O finished off with a
strong 12 hour shift on Sunday. Once again, we never laid eyes on each other
over the course of the contest.
This past year we put up an X-7 at the club and for this contest kept it
pointed west while we kept the big log pointed to the east. The strategy
worked well and it enabled us to run as well as S&P pretty much at will.
Look for the W1AF Harvard Wireless Club special event, celebrating our 90th
anniversary, this coming October 2-3.
