Comment:
I again operated from the Quartz Hill Amateur Radio station ZL6QH.
The station is located on a farm near Wellington and is managed by
the Wellington Amateur Radio Club. I was disappointed with a lower
score than last year. Activity and conditions appeared to be
generally poorer on all bands. A mains power failure at 1300 on
Sunday did not help - had to start up the petrol generator and run
the station at reduced power for several hours! Thanks to the
organisers for another fun contest.
