Comments:

Fantastic conditions on 15/10 meters, including unusual Asia/Pacific morning openings.  More often than not, the rule was point the beam due north and work just about everyone. VK's and W6's also often best on a north beam heading (???)

A fun contest, with lots of activity right up to the end.  Timing of the contest wasn't great as I couldn't resist two big distractions: some very exciting college basketball games and the first weekend of the year with excellent bicycling weather.

A bit of a mind blower was exchanging 59/1643 reports with CL0C.

Am I imagining it, or isn't the level of overdriven audio/splattering of most European run stations getting worse and worse every contest?  Had to ask for fills many times because of unintelligible audio.  With conditions like these, why do they do this (dumb question)?

Wish more Europeans would listen split on 40m.  40m conditions were actually quite good, but limited number of stations to work from US.
