Thanks to KĜGND for the loan of his station. With a broken antenna at home I would not have had a chance to operate otherwise. His FT-1000D and five element monobander play much better than my Icom 735 and R-5. It was a real treat (and new experience for me) to have a 9H, C3, DU, ER, EX, HL, and V7 answer CQs. Running a frequency from 13:58 through 17:11 on Sunday was a new and fun experience also. Now if only the rate had been better.
