Comments :

Conditions are definitely getting better. I had one of the best times of my
life. I did QRP on SSB. It was a ball. The big band was 10 meters. Got 83
countries on that band in two days...almost DXCC in 48 hours. Conditions
were so good that I worked 75 JA's on 10 SSB. The ole 40 meter band was the
hardest, and I knew it would be. With only a vertical it was tough.Only
worked some stuff in the Caribbean. Anyway it was neat on QRP. Sometimes I'd
get right through, and other times they would not even hear me. Just kept
using the "search & pounce method. Sometimes even breaking through the pile
ups, especially on 10 meters.
