        20-10  Attic mounted Cushcraft D-3 Dipole


At new Condo QTH while house is being remodeled.  Set up D-3 dipole in
attic Friday night.  I had more ambitious plans, but the move from our
house to the condo turned out to be MUCH more time consuming then either
myself or xyl anticipated.  If I hadn't lost job due to company
closing down things would have been even worse!  Don't worry, new job
starts this coming Tuesday.

The biggest surprise by far was finding out that I could actually 'run'
folks using an attic mounted dipole.  2nd biggest was vy1ja calling in
on 15m, unfortunately without any 80m or 40m capability, making a run at
a sweep just wasn't in the cards.  I had a late start on saturday and
missed alot of Sunday since we're still trying to clear out of the
house.

Hope to be a little better prepared for SSB, probably some type of 40m
shortened dipole!
