This contest was great fun! All of the Japanese operators were so polite and
friendly---what an absolute joy!  

I had a particular interest and ulterior motive to operate this contest. One of
my best friends lives in Tokyo and her 10 year old son is thinking of trying to
become a ham.  She has even expressed an interest in amateur radio.  Of course,
I share with her many of the details of my contacts with Japanese operators in
the hopes of inspiring the two of them!
