Comments:

This was my second Sprint and I did improve my score from my first outing.
Heard but missed ME, MD, and one other that I can't remember. Was kinda in a
rhythm during the first hour and then the wheels fell off during the second
hour. In the third and forth hours seemed to regain consciousness and did OK.
I think I spent too much time on 40 where I should have gone back and ran 20 a
few times. 80 was bad here, I think it was my high SWR 1/4 wave vert w/32
ground radials that was the problem. I got beat consistently on 80. Used
FT1000MP, Alpha 374A amp (1000W) and 40-2CD at 75' (worked great) and the C3E
at 87' (also worked great). Biggest bone head mistake - twice I broke the pile
up, worked someone and then spun the dial to find someone else. I realized it
as soon as I did it but it was too late. That hurts after winning the pile up
and all to lose that sure Q that follows. Anyone else care to admit to doing
this. I had a good time and hope to break 300 someday. 73, Jack W4NF
