Comments:

Found my rotor was frozen with the beam pointing North, tried for a long time 
to shake it loose, but to no avail.  Made last minute arrangement to do contest
from W9RPM (showed up at 23:30z). Could not get his computer to key radio by 
00:03z, so decided to send everything by hand. Found out that I have let the 
computer do too much keying lately... I can't send worth a crap!!!

After the contest, found that his keying interface (which keys his radio fine 
under DX4WIN software, but not under TR) has all three wires connected, and 
apparently that is a no-no with the FT-1000MP.  We snipped one of the wires, 
and now it works with TR and still works with DX4WIN.  So, if I use the station 
again, you won't have to suffer through my hand keying again.

I believe this is a personal best for a CW Sprint, but I am still disappointed 
in the multiplier totals.  Any time you guys want to share your multiplier 
secrets, just drop me a note. :-)
