Comments:

- First time all the computers agreed EXACTLY at the end of a big contest! No
equipment problems of any kind was a nice reprieve.

- Conditions were very strange. 10m opened over the pole in the middle of the
night. 10 is hardly ever open at this time of the year, especially over the
pole to EU/AF. 15 was a workhorse to Europe both nights. Very loud signals on
80 and 40, but not many stations. USA participation seemed way down on all
bands - lack of stations or peculiar propagation? Things died in the last 6-7
hours ofthe contest as the K index rose, but it was a lot of fun before that
happened.

- Decided to drop down from M/M to M/S this year, but from the way conditions
were we should have done M/M. Oh well.

- Some of the mistakes on Packet spotting were unbelievable. What a pain to go
chase a new mult only to find it was not a new one, just somebody's spotting
error. Never could find that BY1A that was so often spotted.

- This was a fun contest. The new M/S rule helped a lot.
