One word - BRUTAL.
10M didn't cooperate up here at all. Couldn't run on 40 and 20 wasn't much
better.
I can't put my finger on what it was (propagation shift?) but things just
seemed "out of sync". Finally got the SO2R Top Ten Box working like I want.
Probably spent a little too much time futzing with that as well.

The capper was Sunday am. After going to bed with 923 qs in my pocket (
missing just VO1 for the sweep at that point) Sunday AM rates for 13, 14 and
1500 UTC were 21,32 and 37 repectively. Ugh. That did it. That's when I
decided that our local professional football team needed me more than SS. I
left to attend the Eastern final playoff game after originally giving away my
ticket. (My brother thought I was insane for telling him I would rather stay
home and do SS.) Glad I went to the ball game. It was a lot more fun than SS.
We won and we're in teh Canadian version of the Super Bowl.

Came back after the game to sit on 14.244 and give everybody the mult. Added
another couple hundred Qs.

Congrats to VE4XT for sitting through the doldrums and beating me. But I'll be
honest and tell him that I'm not sure it was worth it. He worked 8 more hours
than me for less than 100 more qs!

Called VE4VV on the phone. We can't fingure out what's happened but something
is going on that we can't put our finger on. I was hoping to bust 2000 q on LP
but thre's no way that's gonna happend with condx like these. 10 M
partcipation is way down (skip? I noted VE7CC did really well on 10m. Maybe
its too long for us) Not hearing a lot of the casual ops we did last year. Lots
of Multis and heavy increase in U class.

Brutal...just brutal.
