Comments:

FT-817 (in a fourth floor apartment) 5-watt to a top end-fed 73-foot Inverted-L
24-ga stealth antenna up 40 feet in trees adjacent to I-75 in downtown Atlanta.

Ironic how a contest finally motivated me to operate on 160m for the first
time. Heard more stns on 160m than on 80m in the NAQP recent contests but they
were much harder to work. Farthest stateside stn heard was in Oregon.

The most memorable QSO was working AA1K. This op took the time to verify my
call and SPC even though it was copied correctly the first time. (A WB6-stn in
"4" land can be confusing for a lot of operators.) Now that's an A-1 operator
in my book.
