Comments:

Not much of a story this time. Been trying to figure out how to get on 160, a
place I have never been before. Finally decided to try loading 80 dipole into
which, to my amazement, I can get 100W with the MkV. I didn't expect to work
anything beyond BC, WA and OR but, to my surprise, I was able to add CA, AZ,
MT, UT and ID to the list. So now I can maybe pick up another 5 mults in some
of the other tests.

I did get some useful practice with my SO1.5R system. Running (so to speak) on
the B VFO while hunting for mults, well, anyone at all, on the A VFO. At one
point the rate meter reached the dizzying value of 18/hour! Still haven't
finished the SO1.5R documentation so others can try it.

I wasn't on for very long and thought I should post my score before the contest
was over. In that way, for a few brief hours, I would be able to say I had the
highest posted score. Soon to become the lowest posted score.

This modest success (a few people heard me) has encouraged me to proceed with
the plans for an inverted L for 160.

Thanks for your patience in digging me out of the mud, guys.
