Comments:
man how do u guys do this?!?!
well this was my 2nd ssb sprint, and first one from a real station... so i
learned a lot...... i guess when 40 gets slow i need to go back to 20, and when
80 gets slow go back to 40 for a few q's...... i made like 4 band changes.... i
just got on a band and stayed.. then moved down.... SOOOOOOOOO ive already
learned a ton for next year :) im pretty sure i can get 300 then, but i
seriously dont know how u guys get 50+ mults... jeeez
anyways was my first time at NO9Zs, had a great time using Lynns big station.
picked up the VP8 on 10ssb and 20ssb (1 call with 100 watts on 20 AMAZING!)
worked a ton of 30 over russians on 20cw and ssb
over all a fun contest, another good learning experience..
congrats to KL9A at UQ for doing so good from such a small station, K9PG for
being the man, and n6mj for beating me with QRO on 1 band and no 80... guess
its nothing big, it is N6MJ afterall :) and ralph k9zo for kickin my butt :)
equipment:
ft1000mp
al1200 (bout 1300w)
kt34xa at 100'
a4 at 80' (used it for 2 q's i think)
2el mono on 40 at 110'
80m sloping dipole to EU (the other 2 slopers were tuned to cw for arrl)
beverages... WOW!!!!! never used beverages before, lynn had 2 600ft ones NE and
