Worked this one from home (50' x 50' backyard):
  One radio, FT-1000MP, with Ameritron AL-1200 amp
  20m & 40m: Force 12 C4XL yagi @ 70 ft
  80m: Inverted Vee with apex at 60 ft (white wire, which is key!)

Mults Missed:  AK, AR, KS, KY, NE, RI, SC, VE4, VE6, VE8.  Never heard any of 
these, although it is now obvious that most were on!  I was lucky enough to be 
one of the 17 guys that N4ZR worked for the elusive WVa mult. Thanks Pete!

I believe 17,108 points is a personal best.  I've had more Q's, and more mults, 
but never the right combination.  I agree with others that participation seemed 
down.  There were times when I could have used a second radio.  Next time!

I am sort of in shock after seeing some of the scores come in.  It would appear 
my score could be in the Top 10.  Just have never felt that this station, nor 
my Sprinting skills, were of that caliber.  Of course if N6MJ were at a decent 
station, and if K9NW would have had an 80m antenna, and if K7SS would have ran 
High Power, and if K6LA's amp wouldn't have popped a fuse, and... well, let's 
just say that I won't be getting a big head if I do make it into the box.  I 
got real lucky.

See you next weekend.  I'll be the guy with the long callsign that has 
forgotten the code.  Be easy on me.
