Comments:

The last time I tried this contest, I was using a paper log and a TS-830/SB220 
tuner-upper special.  I think it was back in 1985 or 1986.  I had forgotten 
what the pace was like, wow.  About thirty Q's into the contest I noticed that 
TR was indicating "NONCW" for frequency.  That's what happens when you test 
drive logcfg.dat at home (FT-1000D) and then run the contest somewhere else 
(FT-1000MP) and don't re-define the radio.  I manually entered the correct 
information into the log file and went back to it.  Wasted 10 minutes, which is 
forever in this contest.  Still a personal best, and was delighted to break 300 
Q's.  Lots of fun to spend an evening with so many great operators.
