Comments:
Decided to take a crack at organizing a team instead of blindly signing up for
one. When the name, "Azenmokers" was suggested, I thought it was a lost Indian
Tribe. However, the name contains the state abbreviations of AZ, NM and OK,
which are the states in which our team members reside. For some, it was their
first attempt at a Sprint. Thanks so much for getting on and enabling
record-breaking activity! Hope that the Sprint becomes a habit....
One side benefit of the team-building effort was that I finally worked New
Mexico! Worked all the mults that I heard, including KL7, XE, J3 and KP4, but
didn't hear AR, IA, KS, MT, NE, SD, VE1, 4, 6, 7, 8, HI V4 and whatever other
NA countries put in an appearance while I was napping. With 49 mults, I was
feeling pretty smug until I started listening to the scores and mult totals on
3830.
Best start ever, 102 QSOs, then 82, 80, and 93. Felt puny on 40, and the
hourly totals show it, 58 band changes, still don't have that process down to
an art form,
73 - Phil
