Comments:

Thanks to Jim for letting me use his brand new FB station!  Ft990, FT1KMP, 
Titan, LK550, C31/C3E/C31, 2 el F12 40, 4 sq on 80.  All on the "wrong" side of 
a hill! :) 

After losing a few pile-ups and getting no answers to CQs I decided to drop 
down and call S9LA on 80 for awhile.  After 8 minutes he didn't come back to 
anyone so I went back to the contest hoping to get back into synch.

The pile-ups were ferocious--an obvious testament to the increase in activity.
