Soapbox:
Ran with a pretty lean crew this time around. 15m almost never closed,
causing me to not get much sleep. Whenever I tried to sleep, I got
spitballs shot at me and things thrown at me. :-) Many thanks to N6HB
for coming in from CA and doing 160. And to Ed, K1TR and Jim, N9JF for
excellent relief operating Saturday and Sunday morning during the
graveyard shifts. N9JF was near Boston visiting his in-laws and accepted
our invitation to operate. Thanks Jim!
XX was sick with the flu all weekend. But you can't keep the man away
from 10! And without enough ops, who would have done it? He did an
excellent job for being sick.
All in all, a great job by all. And thanks to all the stations who moved
to other bands for us. We definitely appreciate it and it keeps things
interesting.
It's a horse race with W3LPL this time around. Looks like we edged them
out by a small margin for the very first time ever in ARRL CW. Now it's
up to the log checkers. It's always fun for these races to be so close.
73,
