Comments:
My first time over 1000 QSOs in any contest! A new personal record and perhaps
a new 7th call area record. Propagation on 20 through 10 was exceptional at
times: first time transpolar QRP QSOs for me to UN and EX on 10 and 15 meters
respectively and a very strong 1200Z 20 meter opening to Europe on Sunday.
Ran an operator-limited two radio setup with two Elecraft K2 radios, a Top Ten
SO2R box and CT 9.70. All equipment worked flawlessly for the entire weekend.
98% search and pounce.
Interesting to note that my first day score was higher than any of my total
contest scores except for the last two years; shades of contests to come,
without high solar flux indices.
