Comments:

Ahem.... not the original plan. Meant to do a serious SOABHP entry as usual, 
but didn't happen. Got sucked into a piece of real urgent stuff at work which 
took several evenings the week previous and, in spite of having Friday off to 
collect gear together and fix up station timed out. Got to 2100 Friday night 
having had one of the towers up and down 3 times already and still with 2 
broken feeders (no 40m antenna or 2nd radio tri-bander), no low antenna, no 
beverage, no noise canceller and no station set up. Decided at this point to 
call it quits since I wasn't going to spend 48 hours if I wasn't going to be 
competitive, and would take the time on Saturday to re-work the stuff ready for 
the SSB leg. 

Operated exactly 2 hours on Saturday night with a 181 clock hour and a 174 on 
the other 2 fragments which was fun. Otherwise played from my mega station at 
home.

Conditions sounded excellent on the high bands and not shabby at all on LF. 
Hope they will be as good in 2 weeks time. See you then I hope.
