Comments:

Unseasonable thunderstorms played havoc from time to time creating QRN. Thanks 
to all who had patience with my repeat requests. This was a joint low profile, 
low impact, effort with Bob Patten (C6AKQ) who did an SOSB 40M effort from the 
same hotel room.. Equipment: IC-706MKIIDSP, 80M inverted dipole elevated by 
DK9SQ mast mounted on second story roof of the hotel. Contest software ws TRLog 
run on an ancient 486 notebook. I really enjoyed the nice level of activity, 
especially during the first night. Prior to the contest we operated on other 
bands in order to hand out as many C6A QSO's as possible, especially on the 
WARC bands. I had over 900 QSO's om 30M alone! What fun!. Thanks to all who 
made it down to 80M for this event.
