Comments:

Fun, casual operation. Never heard so many Europeans in this contest
as we did this weekend, thanks to the new band plan minimizing
stateside QRM below 1843 Khz. Still not enough of them listening up for
stateside, but that will come with time as they figure it out. Likewise
the stateside stations ignoring the band plan but CQing with few or no
answers while those above 1843 had good runs going will help when they
too follow the plan.

Lots of quiet spots were available above 1900 kHz, making it a pleasure
to CQ and have zero -- yes ZERO -- QRM from any adjacent stations. Had some
good runs there and many Europeans called in simplex. Yes, most of Europe
can use the band all the way up to 2000 kHz.

And there was still room for plenty of the ragchewers who chose not to contest,
and some CW at the low end. Band plan seems like a plus for everyone.
