Comments:

Picked up a Commander VHF-1200 late last summer. 900W on 6M!! Wow!! This was
my first June Contest with "power" on 6M , and I had visions of endless hours of
rate. HA!!

Worked 139 QSO's from 0053Z-0247Z (101 QSO's from 01Z-02Z) during a great Es
opening to 4-8-9-0 & eastern 5 land. 28 QSO's to Northen Cal 1626Z-1712Z.

Do the math and that equals lots of slow slow hours. Lots of unanswered CQing
and lots of band hiss. (And a couple of "Gator" reports received after the
contest---- sorry!)

Lots of scatter & meteor bursts. Several QSO's took 8-10 minutes to
complete!!

Last QSO was at 2108Z Sunday. CQ'ed and tuned some off and on until 0300Z while
doing other chores, but came up empty.

Maybe in September!

rig: FT920 + Commander VHF-1200 -- 900W to 5el (12' boom) Cushcraft @ 65'

Thanks to all for the QSO's - good to see many old friends on 6M these days.

See you from Finland in the WRTC-2002 July 13-14. Too bad I won't be on 6M
there!!

73, Gator
