Comments:

Condx were horrible in the beginning, but did improve over the weekend.  The
rotor on the C31XR/2el40 bit the dust at 3am Sunday.  Fortunately, K1TO had just
helped me put up a new trap vertical for so2r, so was able to switch around feed
lines and stay in biz with the C31XR/2el40 stuck on 30 degrees and the trap
vertical for everything else.  It was amazing how well the trap vertical worked
with the long-haul, low angle signals.

Bad luck: losing the rotor.  Good luck:  stuck at 30 degrees and a back up
antenna!
