After a 21 month rest, it is great to be back in the K3LR Multi Multi contest
game!!!
Thanks to all of the contest men that drove and flew from all over the country
to assemble one of the best K3LR Multi Multi teams ever!
It was cool to see 20 meter whip master, George, W0UA teach KL9A and NI3S the
ins and outs. Send fast, run them fast! Those young guns did REAL GOOD! Nice
going guys, 40 zones!!! A leaner, meaner K8GL took on the challenge of 160
meters and all of the static. N3GJ showed us he has not lost his touch, nice 180
hour George! When W9KNI is on 10, the multiplier has to be good. K3UA is back to
his massive coffee ways. More than 50 cups this time. N3RA kept Phil roped in
the rate chair. Scotty found the mults while Phil was rattlin'. Scotty hated
missing zone 22 for a 40 zone sweep. N3SD worked 15 while the boyz slept. No
multipliers missed on 40, or K3EST will hit N2NC on the head. NC says "That Bob
is a slave driver". NC loves living on the edge. Nice 40 zones Bob and John!
K0RF wins the "Butt in the Chair award". I never saw him take off the
headphones.
Special thanks to my engineering consultant Dave, W9ZRX who guides me through
any station/computer problem I can think up.
