Comments:

Conditions were fair/poor, but the Alpha 99 helped keep the band open.... Best
dx was S9SS and ZK1CG (heard me on the second call!). Operating standards were
high- people seemed to be quite considerate. No opening at all to JA or to
Europe. Worked one each VK & ZL and five ZS. No internet, so no spotting, which
would have helped looking for those rare mults like KL7. Used 3 element
monobander at 160 feet.
