Comments:

R-5 at 15 feet at 100 watts and 70 feet random wire for 40 meters at 15 watts
was all I could get into the air. Seemed to work as I was heard on both coasts
and into the Yukon. Not bad but I do miss not having a tower and beam (next
year!!)
